GARDEN & YARD WORK

Super

This page is all about our yard and newly burgeoning garden!

We planned on selling the house and moving once I was done with school, so in the spring of 2008 we started making the house more attractive for sale by doing some landscaping, including replacing the back lawn, which was mostly weeds. Below there are pictures of the front and back yard as they were when we bought the house, followed by pictures of some of the new things we've put in over the past year or so.

I'm no garden expert, but I expect as everything matures and fills out the whole yard and garden will look kick-ass! I had divided a lot of older perennials, such as Black Eyed Susans, Autumn Joy Sedum, Hostas, and Coneflowers, so they are all looking a bit raggedly and thin at the moment, but it will all come back next year better than ever!
